Philadelphia (CW Philly) — Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions is developing new TV comedy projects with CBS and CBS Television Studios.

According to Variety, the first project being set up through CBS is based on the popular book “Things You Should Already Know About Dating, You F—ing Idiot,” written by Ben Schwartz and Laura Moses.

The show is set to debut on CBS later this year.

The network is looking to develop the book as a single-camera comedy series that explores how millennials date. Schwartz and Moses will also write the series. The show will be exclusively produced by Schwartz, alongside Ferrell, McKay, and Kevin Messick.

The second project comes from Gloria Sanchez. It is a comedy series starring Isla Fisher, though the plot for the show is being kept a secret. What is known is that Fisher will also serve as an executive producer.

At the beginning of August, it was announced that McKay and Ferrell will also produce a police comedy series for CBS All Access called “No Activity.” The show will be based on the Australian series produced by Jungle and broadcast by Stan.
