Philadelphia (CW Philly) — Nobody is immune to KJ Apa’s epic pranks not even Shania Twain. The Queen of Country Pop stopped by Live with Kelly and Ryan on Tuesday, July 18, where she talked with Ripa and her co-host for the day, her husband, Mark Consuelos, about working with Apa on the set of her new film, I Still Believe.

Consuelos knows firsthand what it’s like to work alongside Apa, as they both star in Riverdale together, but he wanted to get Twain’s take on the New Zealander.

“He’s so fun. He’s a really fun guy and obviously very talented, you know that,” Twain said.

In addition to his acting career, Apa is also a musician, and Twain was impressed by his music abilities.

“He’s a musician in the film, so on set he was playing guitar and jamming… [he’s] very talented.”

After discussing his acting and music skills, Consuelos shifted gears and asked Twain if she has been pranked by Apa, who is a known jokester on the set of Riverdale.

“He got me twice,” Twain admitted. “You know that typical, classic thing you should already know by now, ‘Let’s take a selfie,’ but he was videoing.”

In fact, Twain shared the video on Instagram and captioned the post, “Nice work @kjapa, you got me.”
