This is the second time that Hart of Dixie producers may have to adjust the show for pregnancy. It was only last year that Jaime King’s pregnancy required the show’s writers to exclude Lemon Breeland from a few episodes. Now, Rachel Bilson will likely change the course of the show in anticipation of her bundle of joy.

Bilson, who plays Zoe on Hart of Dixie, will be slightly more difficult than King to replace.

According to an article uncovered by SpoilerTV, season 4 of Hart of Dixie will only be 10 episodes long, cutting the season 12 episodes short. Evidently, Hart of Dixie really cannot go on without its main character.
