
Adding hot water to brown powder and calling it hot chocolate? Not in my book! Making hot chocolate from scratch is easy, and quite frankly, more delicious.

What you’ll need:
-milk (whole, skim, coconut, soy, almond, etc.)
-your favorite kind of 1.55 oz. chocolate bar (dark, white, milk, etc.)
-whipped cream
-cheese grater or micro-plane
How to assemble your hot chocolate:
-Bring your milk of choice to a simmer (not boil) in a small pot

-When your milk is hot and your chocolate is melted, whisk them both together in pot. Use about 1/2 of the chocolate bar per cup of milk
-Top with whipped cream and shave remainder of chocolate on top with cheese grater or micro-plane
