All teenagers should know that lying to your parents is always a bad idea.  One mother in Australia taught her daughter the ultimate lesson about lying by selling her One Direction tickets on eBay.

According to Mashable, the Aussie mom auctioned off four 1D concert tickets to punish her daughter and friends for lying about their whereabouts.

The article showed that mom’s original eBay post that said, “You can thank my daughters self righteous and lippy attitude for their sale. See sweety? And you thought I was bluffing. I hope the scowl on your bi**hy little friends faces when you tell them that your dad and i revoked the gift we were giving you all reminds you that your PARENTS are the ones that deserve love and respect more than anyone. And your silly little pack mentality of taking your parents for fools is one sadly mistaken. Anyhow. Your loss someone else’s gain who deserves them!”

Before the listing was taken down on eBay, the highest bid for the tickets was $22,600.
