It’s been 17 years since Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Freddie Prinze Jr. took over the big screen as our favorite troublemaking high school teenagers in the hit 1997 film. Now, after I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, Sony Pictures is planning another comeback.

Deadline reported that Oculus co-writer and director Mike Flanagan and partner Jeff Howard will adapt the 1973 book again.

Neal Moritz, who produced the original film, will also return for the project.

So when can you expect the latest sequel? It’s tentatively scheduled to arrive in 2016.
