After the incident, fans took to the Internet to Photoshop Suarez into parodies including “Jaws” and “The Walking Dead”.
In the lampooned promo image for “The Vampire Diaries” Suarez is poised to sink his fangs into Damon Salvatore holding an apple made to resemble a soccer ball soaked in blood. Presumably, the fan art was noticed by the Somerhalder camp who Instagramed it.
