Truesdale who will reprise his role as “Michael Gerard”, posted an Instagram picture of the two with the caption, “Scotch, great meal, and catching up with my old friend @MelissaMcCarthy, can’t ask for more! Don’t read anything into it guys.”

Last month, McCarthy confirmed on Twitter she was not reprising her role of “Sookie St. James” for the reboot due to receiving no invitation.

The Netflix revival of “Gilmore Girls” will involve a majority of the original cast including, Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore), Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore), Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), and Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore).  Netflix has yet to release a premiere date.
