In the male-dominated world of race car driving, Clarity Newhouse is taking a turn and living her dream racing around the track. This local female race car driver spends weekends zooming around at Flat Rock Speedway. Newhouse just recently got involved in the race world, having only participated in about a dozen races, but this newcomer is surely making her way to the top.

Newhouse has made it her mission to inspire young girls to be what they want. Along with racing on the weekends, she spends time teaching children about the science behind the automotive industry. She has developed a mobile science lab and is beginning to make her rounds this fall to various schools in the area. Make sure you check out my interview with Clarity to learn more about her story!
